The Nike Air Max 97 Dresses Its Big Kids Last In Black, Red, And Reflective Material

There’s certainly nothing wrong with reusing colorways — especially when their predominantly clad in neutrals. Even Nike is prone to mimicry, which is evident in this upcoming Big Kids’ Air Max 97.

Almost identical to an adult option, the pair casts many of its parts in black. It’s not difficult to see this across the leather mudguard, midsole, and ripstop-constructed base, all of whose surface is distinct in both texture and specific shade. A stream of reflective silver finishes, then, runs along the side, glistening subtly even without any flash. Finally, a “Sport Red” touches finish up the shoe, appearing along the miniature Swooshes, outsole, and heel tab.
