This Nike Waffle One Draws Some Influence From The Air Max 1 “Curry”

The Waffle One is easily one of Nike’s best new creations, a perfect bridge between retro and contemporary design. And with its next appearance, the shoe is incorporating a palette similar to the beloved Air Max 1 “Curry.”

Though not totally uncanny in its homage, the colorway does sport quite a few similarities to the aforementioned. First of all, its blend of “Cider” and “Twine” closely resembles the food-inspired color; they’re even balanced out in a similar way, as white and its creamier offshoots dress the Swoosh and sole adjacent. What’s more, the upper also features a touch of blue, though its appearance here is far more subtle.

Enjoy an official look at this Curry-inspired Nike Waffle One right here. Sizes are likely to pop up on Nike.com and at select retailers within the next few months.

Over at the Three Stripes, the AW22 Craig Green adidas collection was just unveiled on the runway.
