The CLOT x Nike Flux Dunk Is Set For March 18th Release

Whether adding see-through toe boxes to the Nike Air Max 1 or satin-like material to the Air Jordan 1 Mid, collaborations by CLOT and NIKE, Inc. have always strived for innovation. With the latest joint-effort, the NIKE FLUX DUNK, Edison Chen and company continue the trend.

Partly inspired by the “Yin-and-Yang” philosophy of fluidity and harmony, CLOT’s latest Nike collaboration indulges in a shimmering silver meant to represent the mixture of tones found on the spectrum between “White” and “Black.” Given that it’s served as a unifying force since 1985, the Nike Dunk High was an intentional choice for Chen. A lenticular construction found across the entire shoe helps bring the term “flux” to life, as the pair delivers an optical illusion at every angle. Furthermore, co-branding on the tongue label switches between CLOT and Nike logos in a finish reminiscent of holographic memorabilia from decades past. Profile swooshes forgo their traditional build in favor of a flush, topstitch proposition that helps Chen and his NIKE, Inc. family further provide a mesmerizing, future-thinking collaboration. Lastly, laces and sole units boast a sleek “White” finish that compliments the silver upper well.

No Nike SNKRS launch date has been disclosed by either party, but the CLOT FLUX DUNK arrives to JUICE locations worldwide on March 18th with a price of $150 USD. While you wait to try your luck, enjoy images of the pair ahead.
