The New Balance 2002R “Aluminum” Is Making A Return

The New Balance 2002R made a much lauded debut in late 2020, and since then it’s served as a centerpiece for New Balance Lifestyle’s forward progress on both the general release and collaborative front. The archival model with the updated midsole made its biggest splash with the outstanding “Protection Pack” New Balance releases, but it all started with a selection of clean colorways that included this all-tan “Aluminum”.

The creamy tan covers the entire suede and mesh upper, while a monochromatic midsole achieves that stately look that has aligned with apparel trends over the last two years. Classic light grey pads the interior, while touches of reflective appear on the heel panel.
