NAKED Injects An “Onyx” Aesthetic To The adidas Supernova Cushion 7

With the recent revival of the adidas Supernova Cushion 7, adidas is looking to its trusted creative partners to give the turn-of-the-century runner an added kick in the lifestyle segment. In comes Copenhagen’s NAKED, the womens-focused boutique that has steadily advocated for the female sneakerhead through its many collaborations over its run; together with adidas, the two embark on their sixth overall collaboration, injecting a sleek and sexy aesthetic dubbed the “Onyx”.

With an all-black foundation, this Supernova Cushion 7 features acute accents of a concord purple on the exterior heel on the midsole, while oily iridescent panels cover the forefoot overlay. Additional details such as the co-branded tongue labels and uniquely pinstriped stripes add more of a personal touch, but for anyone who adheres to an all-black look, these are too clean to pass up.
