The Blends x Vans “Magic Tape” Pack Revisits Iconic Bones To A Customizable OG Style 36 LX

The Blends x Vans “Magic Tape” Pack Revisits Iconic Bones To A Customizable OG Style 36 LX

Who knew a quick and simple modification of a logo would become one of the most storied sagas in footwear? So-Cal’s Blends achieved that when they transformed the Vans jazz stripe with skeletal bones, and every time the shop revisits the project, the Vans fanatics come out of the woodworks.

This time around, the OG Style 36 LX is at the center, but beyond the predicted transformation, Blends adds a customizable touch as the jazz stripe can be swapped for different colors. The “Magic Tape” moniker for this pack is a nod to how Japanese natives commonly referring to velcro.

There are three colorways in this mini capsule: black, marshmallow, and olive. The black pair has already launched in May and have sold out, but the marshmallow will be releasing through Blends this Saturday, June 18th, followed by a release of the olive on July 2nd.
