The New Balance 550 Goes Out For A “Light Milk Tea”

Much like the Dunk Low, the New Balance 550 has spent the better part of 2023 delivering one release after another. And after hitting the shelves in both “Verdigris” as well as “Sea Salt/Marine Blue,” the silhouette is now dressing up in an understated, “Light Milk Tea” colorway.

Akin to its contribution to Joe Freshgood’s “Conversations Amongst Us” collection, this New Balance 550 is predominantly made up of one color, namely “Light Milk Tea.” The bright, cream-like tone is brushed along much of the exterior construction, painting everything from the leather base to the “N” logo and laces. Only neutral whites offer any sort of contrast, albeit only by way of the “550” embroidery and midsole.
