BAPE Transforms The adidas Stan Smith Into A Golf-Ready Shoe

Amidst its 30th anniversary in 2023, A Bathing Ape has made a concerted effort toward celebrating with adidas. After the creation of a duo of Forum Lows and the Bapesta star affixed Campus 80, the Harajuku-based banner has since expanded its three-decade commemoration to include a golf-centric reissue of the archetypal Stan Smith.

While a smooth “Cloud White” tinted leather builds out a dominant majority of the upper real estate in a classic construction, the brand’s iconic ABC Camo print indulges in a striking stand-out treatment across the heel tab, graphic insoles and the removable kilt lace cover. Elsewhere, the archival composition adheres to its mid-60s era of aesthetics as familiar vibrant shades of green illuminate the co-branded BAPE tongue tabs in tandem with the tread’s lugged appearance for success on the green. Complimented by an aged cream midsole, a set of three interchangeable laces allows for a bit of customization upfront.

Tapping Houston Rockets guard and adidas athlete Jalen Green to unveil the ensuing capsule of apparel, the BAPE x adidas Golf collection is scheduled to release on October 21st while the iconic low-top trim is expected to retail for $160. In the meantime, the pair can be seen below in detailed imagery.

In other news, the Jordan Brand Summer 2024 release dates have been confirmed.
