Two-toned colorways have consistently amplified the Nike Dunk since its 1985 inception, adhering to a split treatment between the base layer and surrounding upper panels. However, as the low-top trim continues to rival the success and weekly appearances of the Air Force 1, its ensuing color blockings have since been expanded to a more versatile outlook.
Recently, the Peter Moore design attached itself to the accents of autumn featuring a tonal assortment of neutrals. “University Gold” introduces the front half of the installment by treating overlay, quarter and textile tongue construction while the “Light Brown” laces transition the back half of the model to a caramelized finish across the heel counter, tongue tab and tread. Dipping its smooth leather base layer in a colorless white backdrop, “Coconut Milk” then coats the swooshes and connecting heel tabs before matching the energy of the midsoles underfoot.
The Nike Dunk Low “University Gold/Light Brown” can be seen ahead in detailed imagery while we await further release details.
In other news from underneath the Beaverton brand’s umbrella, the Tatum 1 “Bleached Tie-Dye” recently surfaced.
