The adidas D.O.N. Issue #5 Arrives In “Core Black” On October 24th

Entering his seventh season in the NBA, Donovan Mitchell has already begun to debut his fifth signature silhouette with adidas throughout the Cleveland Cavaliers preseason schedule. As the D.O.N. Issue #5 prepares for its October 15th debut, the Lightstrike cushioned silhouette adds a bespoke monochrome effort to the range of initial releases later this weekend.

In a stark contrast from its white-dominant counterpart, the fifth iteration in Mitchell’s signature line airs away from its contemporaries’ two-toned uppers and instead opts for a clad-black treatment. Both the mesh base layer and the synthetic TPU overlays achieve a pitch-dark finish in tandem with the tongue construction, laces and inner bootie. Underfoot, the sole unit is stricken with a singular swatch of “Core White”, illuminating the simplistic treatment below while final black markings ascertain the vertical 3-Stripes.

The adidas D.O.N. Issue #5 “Core Black/Core White” is scheduled to release on October 24th for a retail price of $120. In the meantime, the pair can be seen in detailed imagery below.

For more on-court toolings, Kiki Rice recently debuted the Air Jordan 38 “UCLA” PE.
