The adidas NMD S1 Boot Returns Without The Assist Of Moncler

Retailing for a few hundred less than its collaborative counterpart.

The adidas NMD S1 Boot Returns Without The Assist Of Moncler

adidas had quite a bit of help preparing for Winter, joining Moncler for a collection replete with many a collaborative silhouette. And now, only a month later, one of these models — namely, the NMD S1 Boot — will be receiving its first inline release later this month.

To help set it apart from its much more expensive counterpart, the Three Stripes have made a number of modifications to the GR version of the NMD S1 Boot. The Moncler-branded hardware, of course, is removed, replaced by a much more standard, more streamlined lace unit. And although insulated in much the same manner, the upper, too, features its own set of tweaks: the quilting, for starters, is unique from that of Moncler, and the collar is slightly shorter, less tapered, and lacking the toggle fastener.

Enjoy a closer look at the GR adidas NMD S1 Boot ahead. According to retailer sources, a release is slated for Nov. 15th.

In other news, the JJJJound adidas Samba is coming soon.
