A women's exclusive.

The Nike Cortez Cleans Up In “Black Suede”

The Nike Cortez is an immortal masterpiece, continuing to explore a vast number of versatile toolings over 50 years removed from its inaugural debut in the early 70s. For its latest construction, the circa 1972 solution opts for a bespoke monochrome effort built exclusively for the ladies.

Resuming the silhouette’s recent obsession with suede, the low-top trim executes a slimmed-down version of the textile albeit with a seldom amount of hairy detailing. Coated entirely in a pitch-dark tint, the upper’s all-consuming treatment is immediately juxtaposed by ever-so-faint “Sail” contrasts taht illuminate the profile swoosh, laces and both the tongue and heel tabs. While jet-black fervor strikes again along the inner lining and a sliver of the midsole, the serrated outsole is finished by way of an aged cream accent underfoot.

Release details haven’t been made available just yet. In the meantime, the women’s exclusive Nike Cortez “Black Suede” can be seen ahead in detailed imagery.

In other lifestyle news, the adidas Simpson’s collection is expected to release this month.
