LeBron James’ Career – And This Nike LeBron 21 – Is A Movie

UPDATE November 15th, 2023: A release date is now expected on December 8th, 2023.

Ahead of the release of LeBron James’ 21st signature in late September, the Air Zoom Turbo-assisted silhouette was previewed in a handful of Oyster-inspired treatments; drawing a direct connection to the model’s protective congruence with the protective properties of a seashell. While different species of mollusks will continue to appear atop the pair, the LeBron 21’s latest colorway takes a drastic departure featuring movie theater motifs.

Initially previewed back in August, the regal color blocking has since made its way to official images. Embarking upon the model’s first nubuck-coated effort, the clad-textured upper is draped in a singular “Track Red” hue while an accenting collection of “Bordeaux” ascertains the mesh tongue, quarter and inner lining. What’s more, a luminous violent tint consumes the heel counter featuring an iridescent finish while a faint ice blue shade illuminates the tread underfoot. As for the colorways’ namesake, the “James Theater” is harkened to throughout the model, rendering ticket stub-reminiscent tongue tabs and popcorn-coated insoles. The latter is also met with popcorn bucket and 3D glasses at each heel – providing further clarity to the pair’s blue and red inspiration.

The grade school-exclusive Nike LeBron 21 “James Theater” is currently scheduled to release on November 11th for a retail price of $170. In the meantime, the pair can be seen ahead in detailed imagery.

For more on-court efforts, the KD 4 “Year of the Dragon” is receiving a sequel in 2024.
