The German Football Association Receives Their Own adidas Gazelle

Crafted in 1966, the adidas Gazelle has stood the test of time from its origins on the pitch to transitioning into an everyday lifestyle staple. With Germany set to host the European Football Championship in 2024, the original football shoe from the 3-Stripes will be aptly celebrated by featuring a joint effort alongside Germany’s governing football body.

The model itself remains ingrained within its OG composition, pairing a buttery soft leather with a clad canvas outsole underfoot. While not an exact replica of its tried-and-true “Black/White” effort, the low-top trim mirrors the same monochrome aesthetic as a faint off-white hue coats the near entirety of the upper while near-black contrasts illuminate the profile 3-Stripes, the heel tab and the outsole just below. Accompanied by gold foil Gazelle detailing, the silhouette receives a singular reference to the German Football Association with the latter’s crest stamped proudly atop the tongue tabs.

Enjoy a detailed look at the adidas Gazelle “German Football Association” below while we await news regarding an official release.

In other news, the Jordan 11 “Neapolitan” releases on November 11th.
