Nike’s Modernized Blazer Mid Pro Club Returns With Fall-Friendly Patchwork

A modern take on a classic, the Nike Blazer Mid Pro Club has recently surfaced in a mix of autumnal colors.

Unlike Nike Basketball’s original design from 1972, the modern offering takes on a patchwork arrangement across its upper. The retro aesthetic works in-tandem with rubber reinforcement on the mid-foot, harkening back to a prototype from 1978 that eventually made its way onto the racquetball courts. A combination of muted browns and vibrant orange claims real estate across the Blazer Mid‘s top-half, ostensibly nodding to a basketball’s iconic orange look. Profile swooshes interrupt the mismatched aesthetic in favor of a familiar black finish.

Underfoot, the vulcanized sole unit keep things familiar: the midsole opts for a mostly-white ensemble that allows for the slightest contrast to revel in the spotlight. The herringbone pattern below follows suit, rounding out the eye-catching take on Nike Basketball’s pioneering silhouette.

Enjoy official photos of the pair ahead. A firm nike.com launch date hasn’t been disclosed by the brand as of this writing, but that’s likely to change soon. The Blazer Mid Pro Club is priced at $115 USD.

Away from the Swoosh’s offerings, a McDonald’s Crocs collection debuts stateside tomorrow, November 14th.
