The University of Michigan Coats Its Jordan Tatum 1 PE With Denim Accents

Throughout the past few months, Jayson Tatum and Jordan Brand have been gifting Jumpman-sponsored programs with camouflage-style Player Exclusives of the Jordan Tatum 1 for the current collegiate season. Georgetown, UNC and Houston have all received a similar execution of the low-cut trim. Michigan, however, stands as the lone outlier by taking over the previously released “Denim” Jordan Tatum 1 with the school’s own Ann Arbor-ready treatment.

Mirroring the August installment’s use of a navy-tinted base layer and denim-wash overlays, a chestnut brown heel tab returns alongside the crisp white hue of the rubber sole unit. Outside of the titular rainbow gradient that accents the trim of the midsole, the remaining real estate renders Michigan synonymous details. The school’s mainstay yellow hue fills the heel’s embroidered Jumpman logos alongside the JT insignia that stamps the left tongue. In closing, the silhouette instills a bit of nostalgia as the institution’s original Wolverine logo adorns the right tongue tab with dark blue accents.

The Jordan Tatum 1 “Michigan” PE won’t receive a release and is instead reserved exclusively for the men’s and women’s basketball teams. However, you can enjoy a detailed look at the pair below.

For more basketball silhouettes, the Kobe 6 “Reverse Grinch” releases on December 16th.
