Devin Booker Fuses The Air Max 95 “Neon” With His Nike Book 1

"Neon "Air Max 95s are a Booker Family favorite.

Devin Booker Fuses The Air Max 95 “Neon” With His Nike Book 1

Fresh off the debut of his first signature silhouette this past summer, Devin Booker took his place in the long line of signature stars that have dawned exclusive Christmas Day colorways on December 25th. For his inaugural arrival, Booker debuted an Air Max 95 “Neon”-inspired pair of his Nike Book 1s.

The neon green, grey and black ensemble pays direct tribute to the OG 1995 classic; a sneaker that the Booker family holds strong ties to. Born a year after the silhouette debuted, Booker was consistently rotating between Air Max 95s as a kid. As his father’s favorite shoe, Melvin owned a litany of pairs as Booker grew up including the original circa ’95 colorway.

The bespoke pair is the second color blocking that Booker has derived from another model – his clad purple “Be Legendary” Book 1s are inspired by Nike Kobe 4 PEs. Pairing a quilted textile with smooth nubuck overlays, the mid-foot, vamp, quarter, collar and mesh tongue are doused with a cool grey accent that stretches color matches to the inner lining and laces. Meanwhile, a contrasting jet-black shade animates the mudguard and midsole just like its inspired counterpart with bright hits of neon cascading across the profile swooshes, tongue tab and the book-page heel spite before curing the semi-translucent tread in a more vibrant finish.

Enjoy a detailed look at Devin Booker’s exclusive Nike Book 1 x Air Max 95 “Neon” ahead. In the meantime, check out the latest releases for the Book 1.
