Kobe Bryant’s legacy in the All-Star Game was made lasting when the NBA named the mid-season MVP award after the late hero. If you recall, Kobe Bryant made his first-ever NBA All-Star Game appearance in 1998 in just his second year in the NBA. Despite not even being a starter for the Lakers, Kobe dominated the fan vote, taking the world by storm with his high-flying antics and his potential to fill the huge void that would inevitably left by Michael Jordan.
