Nike Air Max 1 Go Vintage In “Bone/Iron Grey/Cashmere”

Tweaks in the AM1's construction elevate this lowkey release.

Nike Air Max 1 Go Vintage In “Bone/Iron Grey/Cashmere”

The Nike Air Max 1 continues on a decades-long march of footwear influence, released in a bevy of new looks each season. With its latest “Bone/Iron Grey/Cashmere,” the sneaker plays into a recognizable monochromatic palette while shifting focus from timeless street appeal to marked vintage style.

Though they don’t carry an official “Premium” title, these receive a material refresh, with tumbled leather replacing the traditional flat counterpart on the upper. Similarly, suede replaces the same on the radial Swoosh. Outside of the faux-aged midsole, “Cashmere” coloring is carried through on the laces and tongue tab.

Finally, there’s one last piece of additional detail on the very bottom. A two tone black and white rubber sole appears in speckled fashion, a slight switch up from the matte finish there on most AM1’s. We won’t downplay the obvious here: a greyscale Air Max 1 is not noteworthy in and of itself, but the changes in the margins make these “Bone/Iron Grey/Cashmere” Air Max 1 stand out from pairs you’ll see everyday.

Expect to see the Air Max 1 “Bone/Iron Grey/Cashmere” on shelves in short order as they roll out as part of Nike’s Spring 2024 slate. Be ready for the typical $140 AM1 price point if and when you do.

As Jordan Brand & Nike plans for this year begin to truly take shape, keep it locked in to our Jordan release dates calendar to make sure you don’t miss any upcoming drops.
