The Nike Air Max Scorpion Enters 2024 In Cloudy Grey

A "Cool Grey" like look for the futuristic kicks.

The Nike Air Max Scorpion Enters 2024 In Cloudy Grey

The Nike Air Max Scorpion was the first brand new sneaker in the AM line to emerge from the pandemic, a dual-minded configuration between flyknit uppers and heavy air soles akin to the Vapormax. Though surely not the premiere model over that span, they have gotten reliable new looks each month or so. Thus, it’s about to time for a new one to make its entrance, which the Air Max Scorpion “Grey” is here to do.

If the structural components of the shoe didn’t speak to their futuristic leanings already, the digital, braille-like branding around the shoe certainly do. Combined with the plush shag on the top quarter of the Scorpion, the design that pulls from every direction makes these a genuinely incomparable silhouette as a whole.

Some two years after the initial Scorpion announcement, this all-grey proposition follows in the footsteps of one of the shoe’s debut formulations with the Air Max Scorpion “Phantom.” Some of the finer details prevent this from being a pure palette swap, but largely, this 2024 edition runs where the first walked. Of the differing characteristics, the sole is probably the most obvious, going to a matte rubber from the translucent on the Phantom.

As with all the Air Max Scorpion releases to this point, these fit under the “Next Nature” umbrella, meaning at least a quarter of the materials came from recycled sources.

No release date has been set for the Air Max Scorpion “Grey.” Instead, we predict these making their debut over the course of the next month. Expect a retail price of $250 for their eventual drop.
