The DTLR x New Balance 2002R “Purple Noir” Glows In The Dark

Bright colors fuel a playful design.

The DTLR x New Balance 2002R “Purple Noir” Glows In The Dark

Building on a series of successful collaborations in recent years, New Balance and DTLR are back at it again with a retailer-exclusive New Balance 2002R.

The design works in a variety of unique materials and colors to produce an unequivocally unique look, a tall order for a model that’s released in countless colorways. Iridescent “Purple Noir” panels appear just above the sole, complemented by black suede overlays and grey ripstop at the base. Meanwhile, neon green accents grace the tongue lining and forefoot portion of the sole so as to produce an energetic mix. As far as the details you don’t see, the shoes come with glow-in-the-dark tongues, back tabs, and ABZORB heel units, injecting even more playful flair.

The DTLR x New Balance 2002R “Purple Noir” drops exclusively in-store and online at DTLR.com on May 17th. Adult ($165), grade school ($105), and pre-school sizes will be made available ($95). Enjoy detailed campaign images below and return to our “Where To Buy” section for direct purchase links upon the shoe’s release.
