The Nike Air Max 90 Drift Gets A “Triple Black” Colorway

The new Air Max offshoot gets an essential treatment.

The Nike Air Max 90 Drift Gets A “Triple Black” Colorway

Nike’s modern Air Max strategy centers around futuristic re-imaginations of the line’s most iconic silhouettes, all in an effort to appeal to a younger generation of sneakerheads hungry to stand out from the crowd.

Among a slate of new “upgraded” offerings, Air Max 90 offshoots have stood out as the most popular, led by the women’s Futura series alongside chunky LV8 pairs. This latest version, however, could very well take the helm upon its eventual release. The Air Max 90 Drift follows the precedent set by the Air Max Plus Drift earlier this year, delivering a chunky, TPU-heavy overhaul of Tinker Hatfield’s original design.

Sharp edges, synthetic materials, stitch-less panels define Nike’s latest Air Max invention. While this “Triple Black” pair opts for a muted, stealthy aesthetic, a recently previewed “Orewood Brown” colorway offers a clearer look at the exact intricacies. Adding flair to the monotone colorway, reflective treatments appear on the tongue ribbon and pull tabs.

No firm price has been set at the time of this writing, but look for pairs to hit shelves in Fall 2024 alongside the aforementioned “Orewood Brown” colorway. In the meantime, enjoy official images below and tap our Sneaker Release Dates page for all the latest updates.
