Sports Eyewear Brand District Vision Collaborates With New Balance Running

Montone makeovers land on New Balance's newest performance runner.

Sports Eyewear Brand District Vision Collaborates With New Balance Running

New Balance and SoCal eyewear brand District Vision took sneakerheads by surprise by releasing a collaborative Fresh Foam More Trail capsule last year, and now the unlikely duo’s back at again with another delivery, this time under the New Balance Running umbrella.

Two FuelCell SuperComp Elite v4 colorways make up the latest co-signed collection; an all-black pair for men and all-grey pair for women. The model itself released earlier this year in a mainline women’s colorway, taken here with notable changes to the materials and branding. Suede panels wrap the toe and heel of each pair, and the New Balance logo appears in an almost “comic sans” font in lockstep with District Vision’s branding. The same typography appears on the insoles and outsole, which communicate the shoe’s FuelCell and Energy Arc benefits, while “District Vision” displays just above the midsole towards the heel.

Both pairs drop on May 23rd via New Balance for $265. Enjoy official images below and tap our Sneaker Release Dates page for a full preview of upcoming drops from the Boston brand.
