New Balance’s “Desert Scape” Pack Starts With A Sandy 1500

New Balance’s “Desert Scape” Pack Starts With A Sandy 1500

Although New Balance has big plans for its Made In USA business, as suggested by its appointing of Teddy Santis as Creative Director of the category, the Boston-based brand doesn’t forget about its overseas endeavors. Case in point: A “Sand”-colored New Balance 1500.

The Made In England-proposition has previously appeared in shades of brown, but the latest style is part of a broader “Desert Scape” collection. Mesh bases and their premium pig suede overlays indulge in varying earth tones, with the “1500”-branded lower heel panel boasting the darkest shade of brown of the bunch. As has become synonymous with NB sneakers, grey is featured on the pair, but scarcely. The tried-and-proven ENCAP sole unit opts into an understated aesthetic, allowing for the sandy arrangement up-top to revel in the spotlight.

Enjoy images of the NB 1500 here below, and anticipate pairs to arrive to select stockists on May 8th.

Elsewhere under the North American brand’s umbrella, the New Balance 550 has recently emerged in a handful of collegiate colorways.
