Michael Le Right at the start of the year, New Balance surprised with the unveil of the 57/40, a new, modernized take on the classic 574. And in the short time since its debut, the silhouette has amassed an extensive range of colorways, one soon to grow with this vivid women’s exclusive.
Far more bold than past editions, the upper incorporates numerous bold shades. The suede toe, eye stay, and heel tab proffer a deep burgundy, while “Velocity Red” weaves atop the collar and counter. And while black balances out the scheme along the leather mudguard and mesh base, its largely overshadowed by the yellow-coated lining and blue-accented, cream-dominant foxing.
