The Nike SB Dunk Low Borrows From The Air Max 90 Again With “Laser Blue”

The Nike SB Dunk Low Borrows From The Air Max 90 Again With “Laser Blue”

Throughout its 19-year history, Nike SB has drawn inspiration for its silhouettes from virtually everywhere, including legendary musical acts and kid’s folk stories. Additionally, the skate-oriented category has borrowed themes and technologies from elsewhere under the NIKE, Inc. umbrella. Case in point: A Nike SB Dunk Low clad in a “Laser Blue” transplanted from an original Nike Air Max 90.

Akin to a pair that launched at select retailers in January 2020, the forthcoming sneaker indulges in a white, grey and black arrangement across most of its construction. Ankle overlays and profile swooshes nod to Tinker Hatfield’s visible Air-cushioned design, sporting black smooth leather and light grey suede, respectively. Accents across the top of the tongue and heel overlay, as well as the entire Air Jordan 1 Low-like outsole, deviate from the muted color palette in a bold, ’90s-appropriate blue, exchanging its predecessor’s “Infrared” look.

Enjoy a first-look at this upcoming Dunk Low-variant ahead, and anticipate Nike SNKRS release details soon.
