Offspring’s 2019 “LDN To LA” Sequel Continues With The adidas ZX 420

Offspring’s 2019 “LDN To LA” Sequel Continues With The adidas ZX 420

Offspring and adidas aren’t strangers to each other, having collaborated on a handful of projects over the years, including 2019’s “LDN To LA” collection. As the second-half of 2021 gets underway, both European institutions have prepped a sequel to the aforementioned collaboration, revisiting both global destinations with models like the adidas ZX 420.

Counterpart to a ZX 9000, the newly-surfaced pair arguably indulges in a much more colorful arrangement than the duo’s other style. An off-white cream color sets the stage for a medley of shades directly inspired by the clothing and fruits found across LA’s thrift and farmers’ markers, respectively; faint red, orange, green, yellow and blue animate parts of the mixed-materials upper (including canvas, surely to resemble tote bags). Sole units also join in on the fun, boasting a slightly-yellowed midsole complemented by a number of spring-friendly hues. As with previous joint-efforts, a map of the Venice Canals is embossed on the adidas Originals model’s left heel, while right shoes don an outline of London’s River Thames, rounding out the theme.

As of now, this collaboration is only set to release at offspring.co.uk and in-store on August 7th. Enjoy images of the shoes ahead while you wait.

Elsewhere under the Three Stripes banner, the Human Made Questar is also launching on August 7th.
