Michael Le Like the retailer themselves, Bodega‘s latest collaboration with New Balance — which highlights the beloved 574 silhouette — was hidden in plain sight amongst their recently debuted Autumn/Winter ’21 lookbook.
Paired with a green graphic tee and zipper-customized set of sweats, the 574 features a full array of textures. Most notably, the overlays are dressed in a hairy suede, its exterior washed over with a bright aqua. Elsewhere, the much glossier toe and tongue prefer a blue that’s just a few shades darker, setting the standard for both the perforated collar and the heel clip adjacent. Moreover, the “N” logo follows suit half-heartedly as it then alternates with a silver metallic version. The branding at the tongue is far more overhauled, switching up the usual label for one clad with one of Bodega’s seasonal motifs.
