LaMelo Ball’s Puma MB.01 “Galaxy” Is Not From Here

LaMelo Ball and the Charlotte Hornets won’t live to see another day this season as they were eliminated in the Play-In Tournament, but the reigning Rookie Of The Year has a lot to be proud of in his sophomore season. His incredible all-around numbers and near-nightly highlights earned him an All-Star selection, while the launch of his signature shoes, the Puma MB.01, has injected some new life in the world of signature basketball shoes.

Continuing a string of sold-out releases is an energetic new “Galaxy” colorway that reflect’s LaMelo’s otherworldly self-view of being “not from here”. The electro blue and gecko green combine with a bright crimson red and a patterned upper and interior that reveal an intergalactic outerscape, quickly reminding sneakerheads of Nike’s “Galaxy” collection from a decade ago.

Adult and full kids sizes are scheduled to release on April 29th on Puma and Foot Locker. Additionally, a Puma Suede and RS-X lifestyle shoe will drop as part of this Galaxy capsule, as will a full assortment of athletic apparel including hoodies, tees, and sweats.
