The Nike Dunk High Gets Ready For The Upcoming Lunar New Year

The Nike Dunk High Gets Ready For The Upcoming Lunar New Year

Nike, along with incorporating Asian culture in their designs, often commemorates many of the continent’s most iconic holidays. And with Lunar New Year just around the corner, the brand has prepared a Dunk High lightly dipped in Eastern influences.

Unlike some of the Swoosh’s prior efforts — such as the Nike SB Dunk Low “Hawker” — this upcoming Dunk High is much more reserved, featuring light grey suede and white leathers across the overlays and base, respectively. The Swoosh, in slight contrast, is tinted ever-so-slightly cream, while the lining and back pull-tab opt for a lush green that alludes to nature much like the icy blue bottom. And across the heel, this inspiration takes further form, as mountains are emblazoned onto the panel in a gilded finish.

For a closer look at the upcoming Nike Dunk High “Lunar New Year,” take a peek at the leaked imagery below. At the time of writing this, a release date has not yet been revealed; it’s likely, though, that these will land early 2023.

In other news, the Jordan Luka 1 Bred was just unveiled.
