Homer Simpson Backs Into The Bushes Of This Upcoming adidas Stan Smith

The fact that The Simpsons is still on the air should speak enough about its significance. And whether you’re a fan of the series or not, it’s almost certain you’ve come across the series’ several memes, from creative interpretations of Skinner’s dinner with the Superintendent to GIFs of Homer slowly backing into a bush. adidas, though likely aware of many of these, have yet to indulge in them with their collaborative offerings — that is, however, until now.

Using the Stan Smith as their base, the Three Stripes are making a meme a reality. At a glance, the tennis classic appears as it usually does, with a white leather upper and pops of green across the tongue label and heel tab. The former, though, is customized with a portrait of Homer Simpson himself, while the latter recreates the above-mentioned moment, with the character backing into a bushy chenille.
