The New Balance 2002R “Black/Gunmetal” Is Available Now

Amidst a constant stream of boisterous summer outfits and collaborative efforts, sometimes simplicity hits different. Such is the case with New Balance’s latest pitch-dark 2002R construction following the silhouette’s most recent team-ups with atmos and N.HOLLYWOOD.

Centered around “Phantom” shaded mesh, the midfoot panel and heel tab proffer a luminous “Gunmetal” treatment whereas the greyscale construction is contrasted by jet-black pigskin suede overlays. Color matching the latter hue across its tongue and laces, the “N” logo returns with a metallic coat accented by crisp white trim. Underfoot, the overall aesthetic is brightened by way of a dominant white ABZORB midsole before concluding with the presiding dark grey anchoring its tread.
