A BATHING APE® Revisits The adidas Superstar With A “Black/White” Look

Although A BATHING APE® continues to reimagine its iconic BAPE STA™ in new styles, the streetwear pioneer keeps its partnership with adidas alive, revisiting the classic Superstar before 2022 ends.

Dipped in compelling color combination of black, white and gold, the upcoming pair further expand on BAPE and the Three Stripes’ long list of joint-efforts. The style maintains an off-white shell toe that matches with the sole unit underfoot. Smooth leather from vamp to heel, then, takes on a pitch-dark arrangement that’s interrupted by either STA or 3-Stripes branding, depending on the side of the shoe. Furthermore, the adidas Superstar features shimmering metallic gold logos at the profiles, a design choice that also animates lace dubraes and labels on the top of the tongue. Lastly, the adidas Originals offering boasts “BAPE STA” text on the spine, denoting the special collaboration with the Far East Asian institution.

Enjoy campaign imagery of the pair ahead, and find the shoes launching on bape.com come Thursday, November 11th.
