ASICS Closes Out 2022 With The GEL-Lyte III “Recycled Felt”

ASICS Closes Out 2022 With The GEL-Lyte III “Recycled Felt”

Although ASICS has enjoyed a successful year thanks to other GEL-cushioned silhouettes, its bread-and-butter continues to be the GEL-Lyte III from 1991. Recently, the split-tongued design emerged in a “Recycled Felt” ensemble, which delivers one of the wildest makeovers to ever grace to sneaker.

Clad in an “Oyster Grey,” “Diva Pink,” and shades of blue, the newly-surfaced proposition features a translucent outer layer that ostensibly contains and showcases a recycled build underneath. As the pair’s moniker suggests, the principal material used throughout the upper is a recycled felt, which is contrasted by branding logos and other accents in a different construction and animated hues. The “do-it-yourself” reminiscent take also includes contrasting stitching and seemingly random graphics, further contributing to the recycled concept of the shoe.

Enjoy product images of the pair ahead, courtesy of mita sneakers, as you wait for a stateside asics.com release.
