ORIGINAL STORY July 31st, 2023

Back in late February, rumors of an Air Jordan 1 High OG covered in “Celadon” made the rounds across social media. Unauthorized mock-ups of the retro depicted a sneaker primarily covered in the titular green tone, but recent early photos of the pair have debunked such arrangement.

Set to release during the holidays, the upcoming Air Jordan features a muted-colored suede around the forefoot, along the tongue, and across the heel area. Profile swooshes deviate from the understated “Celadon” hue in favor of a “Bright Mandarin” tone that also animates underlays at the ankle, inner-lining, and “NIKE AIR” text on the tongue. The sneaker – which conflicting reports state is limited to just 5,000 pairs (Twitter user @MrUnloved1s says otherwise) – also indulges in an “aged” midsole that falls in line with other “Neo-vintage” styles from Brand Jordan. Lastly, the outsole boasts a “Celadon” makeover that rounds out the retro well.

Enjoy an extremely early look at the pair ahead, and anticipate a Nike SNKRS and NBHD accounts launch come December. The shoe will be priced at $180 USD.
