“Picante Red” Shines On The Nike Air Max 97

“Picante Red” Shines On The Nike Air Max 97

Recently the Nike Air Max 97 has entered a new vein of aesthetics, reconceptualized via the Beaverton brand’s Futura tooling. However, the Christian Tresser design still finds room for a fanciful amount of inline colorways, such as this “Picante Red” accented effort.

Much of the model is dedicated to a pitch-dark allure, curing its tumbled leather mudguard and sea of ballistic mesh in jet-black hues. Accenting swatches of “Anthracite” cascade across the upper TPU strips, oval laces and mid-foot window while a sliver of the latter panels is reserved for a singular stroke of the titular red tint. The pair’s duo of embroidered swooshes are simultaneously illuminated with the aforementioned hue while the full-length Max Air cushioning system underfoot cleans up in a sleek clad-black finish.

Enjoy a detailed look a the Nike Air Max 97 “Picante Red” below while we await further release details.

In other news from underneath the Nike Inc. umbrella, the Jordan 5 “Midnight Navy” recently surfaced in official retail images.
