An Iridescent Prism Adheres To The GS Nike Air More Uptempo

A kids exclusive style of the '96 classic emerges.

An Iridescent Prism Adheres To The GS Nike Air More Uptempo

In a past life, the Nike Air More Uptempo was the ideal on-court complement to Scottie Pippen’s lockdown defense and the Chicago Bull’s second three-peat. In recent years the late 90s tooling has fallen into a vein of common grade school appearances, such as this monochrome treatment amplified through multi-color accents.

Embarking upon a blank white canvas, the colorless leather base layer allows for striking jet-black contrasts to juxtapose the ensemble throughout, adhering to the tread, tongue construction and the enlarged “AIR” lettering that’s treated to an iridescent finish. Elsewhere, the greyscale palette is livened through “Royal Blue”, “Prism” and “University Red” accents that are sectioned exclusively around the trim of an individual letter while placing three disparate color matches across the tongue’s elastic straps.

Enjoy a detailed look at the grade school-exclusive Nike Air More Uptempo ahead as we await further release details.

In other news, the KD 4 “Year of the Dragon” is returning in 2024 for a sequel.
