Kader Sylla’s Newest adidas Collaboration Brings West Africa to the Samba ADV

A release date for the 3rd installment in Kader & adidas' shared history remains unconfirmed.

Kader Sylla’s Newest adidas Collaboration Brings West Africa to the Samba ADV

In the past year and change, the adidas Samba has emerged as one of the German giant’s hottest commodities. With over a dozen collaborations announced over that span, the Samba is bringing another contributor into the mix with the adidas Samba ADV x Kader.

Since signing to adidas, Kader Sylla has taken a few opportunities to release takes on his favorite Three Stripes silhouettes. Beginning with an adidas Superstar in 2022, his talents are now coming to the iconic adidas Samba. The Core Black and brown tones that dominate this sneaker represent Sylla’s family connection to Côte d’Ivoire. As with his previous releases under the brand, Kader’s trademark gold branding crop up once again for these, consistent with the adidas imprint on the sole and the dual stamp on the insole.

The skater’s choice to opt for the ADV over the original iteration of the Samba is deserving of note as well, true to his prioritization of comfort and skate park functionality. The additional support in the ADV’s construction certainly support that concept. In this specific design, Sylla includes one more hardware twist, an interior pocket that harkens to the footwear of the 90s and early aughts.

Scheduled for release this coming Saturday, February 10th, these will arrive with a retail price of $110. Scroll down for a full gallery of the Kader Sylla x adidas Samba ADV.
