A bright take on the classic skate staples.

“Rugged Orange” Suede Takes Over The Nike SB Stefan Janoski

Updated March 20th, 2024: The Nike SB Stefan Janoski “Rugged Orange” is available now. Check just below for our “Where To Buy” section containing direct Nike.com links.

The Nike SB Stefan Janoski, a minimalist, lightweight skate staple for the past decade and change, has been equally prone to wild patterns and reserved looks. Leaning into the latter category, the upcoming Janoski “Rugged Orange” saves its big twist for their construction, swapping out the canvas and leather looks they typically gravitate for an all-suede do.

In their name, you can glean most of the appeal for this upcoming release. The “Rugged Orange” that hits the suede is elsewhere mirrored in the inlaid piping that surrounds their panels, taking a slightly lighter shade to provide contrast. Though not the headliner on this pair, the change in medium continues to the alces, where they go from the traditional cotton to leather. By and large, the rest of the shoe holds onto the traditional Nike SB Janoski construction, a black and white vulcanized rubber midsole the most recognizable of the bunch.

No release date has been set for this release. Instead, we expect these to become available on Nike.com and select retailers in the near future. You can anticipate a $95 price tag if and when you come across them.

In another recent Nike SB update, the Orange Label program returned via a pseudo-pack of the Nike Dunk Low “University Red”, Nike Blazer Mid “University Red” & Nike SB Janoski “Red/Gum.”
