The adidas Samba Swaps To Mesh For The Spring

An earthy, two tone formulation for the lifestyle classics.

The adidas Samba Swaps To Mesh For The Spring

As the adidas Samba continues its renewed march as the flagship model for the Three Stripes, demand necessitates a pretty constant flow of new colorways to keep up with it. Threading the needle between two seasons, the latest “Cardboard” look for the sneaker changes materials to adapt to the warmer months while holding onto a decidedly autumnal palette.

Though the leather & suede configuration for the Samba is the one that’s most readily recognizable, the Three Stripes have proved that they don’t hold that layout entirely sacred. Here, breathable mesh envelops the shoe’s upper, only sparing the tongue, Stripes branding and heel cap in the process. With the shoe heavily relying on “Cardboard” brown to match a gum sole underfoot, the shoe carries a starkly organic atmosphere. With chalk white on the periphery along with suede eyestays and T-toe helping these hold onto the usual adidas Samba appeal, this edition brings just enough novel detail for SS24.

The adidas Samba “Cardboard/Chalk White” drops on April 1st, carrying a slight premium in their $120 retail price. We anticipate the regular full men’s size run, spanning M4 to M14 sizes.

Staying with the brand’s newest announcements, the next adidas Fear Of God Athletics collection drops April 3rd.
