Salehe Bembury’s Crocs Pollex Slide Returns In “Mayo”

Salehe Bembury’s Crocs Pollex Slide Returns In “Mayo”

The empire that is Salehe Bembury x Crocs is back in full swing. After a brief hiatus that stretched from November to the start of May, his Saru Clog broke the silence. All three colorways of his new silo were instant sell-outs and his Crocs Juniper is shaping up for the same fate. Striking while the iron is hot, the two collaborators are unveiling a new take on the Pollex Slide in “Mayo.”

Generally speaking, the design language of Bembury’s past work lives on with this beachy model. The inextricable brain-like pattern that marks all Pollex silhouettes continues, covering the strap and reflecting underfoot as traction. Additionally, the commitment to monochromatic palettes remains in spirit. This is as close to a “Triple White” take on the Pollex Slide as we’ll likely get. This keeps up the two-tone history of the product, complementing platinum white up top with cream notes underfoot. All told, the selling point of Salehe Bembury Crocs has always been bringing streetwear appeal to once kitschy comfort footwear. The Slide does well to bring that appeal beachside, this “Mayo” look ensuring easily wearable neutrality in the process.

The Salehe Bembury Crocs Pollex Slide in “Mayo” hits the Crocs website May 24th, retailing for $70. Enjoy official images ahead, and keep tabs on our “Where To Buy” section included below for direct links upon arrival.

In more collab news, the Splinter adidas shoes and Shredder adidas shoes continue the TMNT x Three Stripes collection on May 22nd.
