The New Balance 9060 Embraces Neutrals In “Sea Salt”

Fittingly coming in the Fall slate.

The New Balance 9060 Embraces Neutrals In “Sea Salt”

Stateside, NB’s big three is well established; it’s the New Balance 550, the New Balance 1906R and the New Balance 9060. The lattermost model has reached its success almost as a middle ground option, between the others in price, aesthetics and composition; not quite vintage and not fully modern. Its latest colorway is a perfect continuation of that, placing calm “Sea Salt” atop its unorthodox hardware.

It’s a full embrace of the tonal with this pair. Though adjacent shades of khaki, chestnut and beige are utilized for it, a fully earthy palette is conveyed across the whole shoe. The only slight break in that revamp comes at the midsole, the split sections from the midline to the forefoot opting for pure white. Though the semi-translucent sway bars and outsole pods keep this shoe as funky as ever, this is one of the more easily worn and accessible colorways you’ll find gracing the New Balance 9060.

The New Balance 9060 “Sea Salt” is expected to debut in the near future with a $150 MSRP. Get official looks via the gallery embedded just ahead.

Elsewhere for the Boston brand, keep our coverage of the New Balance x Action Bronson 1906R handy; a password page posted recently seems to point towards its long-awaited debut coming soon.
