All Wheat Everything For The Nike Air Max Plus Drift

The women's exclusive manifest a natural look.

All Wheat Everything For The Nike Air Max Plus Drift

Though Nike is always revisiting their old silhouettes to chisel out additional innovative looks, the Air Max Plus Drift has still been a surprise this year. Grafting an additional TPU layer on Sean McDowell’s iconic design has bore fruit, and the initial run of colorways has established it as a fantastic newcomer silhouette. As we near the Fall ’24 season, the Air Max Plus Drift is gearing up in kind, unveiling a new “Light British Tan” heavy look.

It’s a comprehensive overtaking of the model in earthy shades, with most of the heel-to-toe real estate occupied by burnt sienna “Flax.” In the mesh underpinnings that peek through the TPU cage, a light to dark gradient from “Team Gold” to “Light British Tan.” Some contrast dusky accents appear in the visible Air units in the midsole, breaking up an otherwise one-note profile in the process. Considering that the Air Max Plus proper majors in more colorful, expressive looks, pairs like this, the “Baroque Brown” and “Phantom” are beginning to carve out a distinct lane for the Plus Drift away from its parent model.

The Nike Air Max Plus Drift is fittingly expected to drop this Fall. Expect a $185 retail price and women’s sizing for this pair.
