“Malachite” Stars On Another Classic Nike Dunk Low

"Be True To Your School" gets a slight twist.

“Malachite” Stars On Another Classic Nike Dunk Low

The reign of the Nike Dunk Low marches on. Though it’s time as one of the most hyped shoes in the market may be over, you’ll be hard pressed to go an hour in any major city without spotting the Peter Moore design on someone’s feet. With that demand, there is supply, and the latest edition in “Malachite” might strike familiar to long-time devotees.

Any combination of green & white, especially in this “Be True To Your School” two-tone color-blocking, calls to mind the “Michigan State” colorway that once commanded retail prices quadruple its retail. To be sure, it’s not an exact replication, and that’s part of the charm with this release. “Malachite” brings a much more vibrant tone overall, and the leather-on-leather look is broken up via suede overlays. Maybe most interestingly, the outsole opts for yellow, a few doors down from the classic gum some formula that’s synonymous with SB releases.

The Nike Dunk Low “Malachite” is set to drop for Fall ’24, retailing for $120. Check out a full suite of official images just ahead while you wait, and keep our Sneaker Release Dates page handy to be ready when this pair launches.
