“Thunder” Air Jordan IV

“Thunder” Air Jordan IV

You’d think the decision to re-release one of the most coveted and hard-to-obtain Air Jordans would be met with approval across the board, but in the case of the Air Jordan IV ‘Thunder’, that hasn’t been entirely accurate. As some of you may already know, the online-only  ‘Thunder’ was released side-by-side with the Air Jordan IV ‘Lightning’ in 2006, with each pair packaged with a piece of limited edition apparel. What makes the ‘Thunder’ such a standout is that it was released with a varsity jacket, causing the total package to retail for $500. So, what does that mean for the upcoming 2012 Retro? Will it be released as some special pack, or will it swim around the $160-175 GR/Premium range? If so, those who shelled out the necessary $500 can only help but feel a bit miffed. Regardless, expect these to sell out immediately once the November 18th release date arrives, so in the meantime, check out this new gallery and give us your thoughts on this ‘Retro of a Retro’.
