Nike Suspends Adrian Peterson Contract

Adrian Peterson Nike Contract Suspended

The recent hot water that a couple of NFL players have gotten themselves into continues to affect their sponsorship deals. Following their terminating of Ray Rice’s contract, Nike has now suspended their contract with Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson. The suspension relates to current indictments of negligent injury to a child brought against Peterson. Nike spokesman KeJuan Wilkins issued a statement on the matter, explaining “Nike in no way condones child abuse or domestic violence of any kind and has shared our concerns with the NFL”. Head to ESPN for the full report and let us know what you think of this development in the comments.
