The fight is on. Pacquiao vs Mayweather arrives May 2nd. With the whole match being billed as The Fight of the Century, you’d think that Manny Pacquiao would be more than aware of the looming May 2nd date, but his latest Foot Locker spot gets a little meta and references his confusion on whether Floyd is finally agreeing to fight him or not. You’ll notice that at the end of the ad Pac-Man rests on his couch wearing a pair of the Nike Kobe 10 Elite. Kobe’s last signature shoe was the first to introduce that boxing shoe-esque construction with a high-arching ankle support made of flywire, but could we actually see the pair arrive on Pacquiao’s feet on fight night? Boxers have worn the Kobe 9 Elite in the past, and given his Nike affiliation, Manny could very well opt to do so. You’ll have to pay $100 pay per view to find out in real time. For now you can check out the full video below.
