Nike Basketball’s annual Hyperdunk installment has always been a shape-shifting dynamic offering in the hoops world. If you look at the lineage of the Hyperdunk series, each year progresses with new technologies, and the same can be said about this year’s Nike Hyperdunk 2016 Elite. For the first time ever, Nike Basketball has added a Flyknit woven construction to the Hyperdunk, and it’s paying off. The high-top gets not only a reworked silhouette but a lockdown support system thanks to Dynamic Flywire, a high-arching sock-like fit on the ankle construction, and a bolstered heel counter for added comfort.
