The Air Jordan 1 “Metallic Purple” Retro May Finally Release In The US

The Air Jordan 1 “Metallic Purple” has always held a unique place in the pantheon of mythical OG Jordan 1 colorways. Featuring a clean white leather upper with striking metallic purple detailing on the swoosh, heel collar and ball & wings logo, and releasing in 2009 as an EU exclusive devoid of all Nike Air branding, the shoe has become an underground favorite among OG Jordan 1 heads. A decade later, it may finally be the Metallic Purple’s time to make a return to the spotlight as it’s now rumored to finally be making an appearance as a limited quickstrike release in the US market sometime this fall. There’s no firm date for this classic, head-turning Jordan 1 yet, but be sure to keep it locked here for any and all release news and updates.
