A Detailed Look At The Nike PG 2.5

A Detailed Look At The Nike PG 2.5

At E3 in Los Angeles, Paul George debuted a brand new signature silhouette during the Fortnite pro-am. It turns out that that sneaker was the PG 2.5 – a new sneaker that acts as a fusion between PG-13’s first two models with the Swoosh. That first look was dressed in a Fortnite theme, but now we have official images of a simplistic black/silver pair that is set to release in the near future. A silver speckled pattern can be seen on its midsole while the vast majority of its upper dons a stately jet black.

“We wanted to refresh the silhouette and keep evolving it,” designer Tony Hardman said. “Paul wanted to put the strap from the PG1 on it, and this allowed us us to approach the element in a different way. Instead of incorporating Flywire as we did on the original, we conceived a new strap for the PG 2.5 built from a new webbing.”

Enjoy an official set of images for the brand new PG 2.5 below and stay tuned for updates regarding a release as we have them. While you wait, be sure to check out our Sneaker Release Dates page for more on upcoming Nike shoes.
